I'm writing about my experience at SXSW Interactive. Here's the first entry.
This Sunday evening I'll be hosting Songs and Seeds: A Tribute to the Life, Work, and Music of Pete Seeger at the Kennedy Center. It's a free show and will stream live and can be viewed on demand the following day. Please attend/watch/listen.
My friend Chris and I wanted to start a DJ night to hang out with other arts writers. So we did. The first Super Best Friends Forever is tonight at Little Miss Whiskey's. To get in the mood, BYT published a MY FIRST CONCERT feature.
SBFF is from 8 to midnight tonight. No cover.
The first 8x8 in Brooklyn is next Tuesday, February 25 at Pete's Candy Store. Performers include Ned Hepburn, Peter Heyneman, Matteo Lane, Will Miles, Nick Mullen and Brooke Van Poppelen.
Due to snow in D.C., YMTE at the Traverse City Winter Comedy Arts Festival has been cancelled. No flights out of D.C. = no show. I'm sorry. This really sucks. Hopefully we can do 2015 and it won't be snowing in the middle of February. If you're in Michigan, go to the festival and say hello to Tia and give her nice things like handshakes and money and stuff.
